How the points stack up
- Race
- P1–P10: 25 / 18 / 15 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 / 1. Each place gained on your qualifying spot +1, each lost −1. Fastest lap +5. DNF, DNS or disqualified −15 flat, instead of finishing and place points, even if the driver is still classified.
- Qualifying
- P1–P10: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 / 1. Never negative, and the baseline for places gained or lost in the race.
- Sprint qualiSprint weekends
- P1–P8: 8 / 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 / 1 / 1.
- Sprint raceSprint weekends
- P1–P8: 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 / 1. DNF −5.
Your constructor scores the combined points of both its real-world drivers, minuses included. A round total can go below zero, unless you play Safety Car Shield.

F1 Fantasy questions
Is F1 Fantasy free to play?
Yes. F1 Fantasy at Pitbrain is completely free — no ads on your team page and no premium tiers. You just need a free Pitbrain account, the same login used for predictions, mini-games and race-day tools.
How many fantasy teams can I run?
Up to three independent teams per season. Each team has its own $100M budget and is ranked separately on the fantasy leaderboard, so you can hedge strategies instead of committing to a single bet.
How do transfers and the lock work?
You get two free transfers each round, banking up to three. Teams lock at qualifying time for each round, so make your transfers and play any booster before qualifying begins. Once your transfers are used your team stays locked until the next round, unless you play the Wildcard booster for unlimited transfers.
Can I play against my friends?
Yes. Create or join a mini-league and settle it with your mates over the season, alongside the main Pitbrain fantasy leaderboard.
